In our Gospel reading for today Jesus reads a prophecy from Isaiah in the synagogue in Nazareth and proclaims that the scripture has been fulfilled in that congregation's hearing. Pastor Katherine proclaims the prophecy in our hearing, we are part of the scripture today.
